Shalini Bhalla - Director Just Jhoom!

Just Jhoom!’s Director – Shalini Bhalla

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a Jhoomer! A dancer! And I love to share my passion to dance with others – hence creating Just Jhoom! and training teachers and teaching people to Jhoom!

It hasn’t been an easy ride – “When is it?” I hear you ask….!

My world came to a crashing stop when I was diagnosed with clinical depression in my late twenties and was hospitalised – I was considered a suicidal risk. Those were the darkest days of my life. But, those days taught me so much about myself – so much about what life meant to me. Those darkest days became my most important teachers – and the light slowly began to shine.

Life is so precious. We are only given one chance at it – and it will be over in a blink of an eyelid. And, I wanted to make sure that my life meant something. My natural instinct was to teach, to make a difference. I wanted to Inspire. I wanted to Nurture. I wanted to Empower.

And so, from this need to make a difference Just Jhoom! was born.

Our mission is to “Create vitality and energy for your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing” through our various programmes. We want to inspire you to try something new. We want to nurture you with our training programmes to achieve success. We want to empower you to make a difference.

This blog is about all sorts! My fight with depression, the highs and lows of my business, an occasional rant about something that has irked me, guided meditations and mindfulness activities and information about the fight against cancer – which my beloved partner is currently fighting.

Please do browse, sign-up to get my weekly blogposts – and do get in touch. I always like hearing from you.

With loving-kindness
